Hi,

I had the same problem with the Ctrl key in different CAD software (Nemetschek Allplan), until I realized that the left Ctrl key is not mapped properly by the guest OS . Multiple selection works only with the right Ctrl key.

I hope VMWare team will repair this bug or help us to add some lines to fusion config file to map left Ctrl key properly. As I see now is mapped like Ctrl + click in MacOS.

By the way, how pro/e works with fusion? What version of fusion are you using?

I found a solution here http://communities.vmware.com/message/698439#698439 and it works.

As noted in :

Ctrl-click
Ctrl-click is a Mac shortcut for right click, and many users expect it to work that way. However, some guest applications may actually want to receive ctrl-click events. To disable this mapping, look under Fusion's Preferences and uncheck the Mac OS mouse shortcuts option.

If you still need right-click, you can get this on Mac laptops by enabling two-finger clicks, under System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Trackpad > "Place two fingers..."
