I installed Windows 7 using Boot Camp and then installed Fusion and attempted to create a new virtual machine using the Boot Camp disk. The VM started up and I logged into Windows. It immediately starts installing VMWare Tools without loading the desktop. It has now been stuck on "Installing VMXNet3 driver" for about an hour. So now I have no idea what state the system is in. Is my Windows 7 installation corrupted now? Even if it isn't, I have no idea how to get Fusion working if I can't even get to the desktop.
I am using the free trial so I can't even contact support.
