when will fusion be compatible with OS MAC yosemite.

I don't know which version of VMware you are running but only VMware fusion 7 is compatible. I don't see vmware making older versions compatible with Yosemite so you have to upgrade to VMware Fusion 7. Download VMWare Fusion 7 at the downloads page of vmware [portion deleted] and that works! Hope this helps!

OK I am running 6.0.5 on all my Macs that have been upgraded to Yosemite from Mavericks with no real issues.

  • Install 6.0.3 licensed copy on Maverick Machine
  • Upgrade to current patch level
  • Upgrade to Yosemite
  • Apply patches and upgrade tools on all VMs.

No issues detected on any of my upgraded computers.
