Hello IT Academy community,
This month we have started to align our academic course portfolio to the Broadcom division that we are now an integral part of: The VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
We anticipate the impact of this alignment exercise will be minimal for our community; though should you experience challenges due to these changes, please reach out to us on itacademy@vmware.com.
The following VMware courses will be phased out:
- Endpoint Security - Core Technical Skills (Part of the Carbon Black Division)
- Digital Workspace - Core Technical Skills (Part of the End User Compute Division)
And over time the corresponding VMware certifications will no longer be obtainable through the IT Academy program:
- VMware Certified Technical Associate - Security 2024 (VCTA-SEC 2024)
- VMware Certified Technical Associate - End-User Computing 2024 (VCTA-EUC 2024)
Effective immediately these courses will no longer be available to add to classes on the D2L/Brightspace platform.
Access for students already enrolled in the courses will remain active till the 1st of August 2024.
Access to the PSE certification exams with the PSE certification voucher will remain available till the 1st of August 2024.
For the foreseeable future, the following courses will remain available in our program as part of the VCF Division:
As will the matching certifications through the PSE certification exams.
