Difference between ARP table and ARP cache

Hi everyone,

On NSX transport node, we can use  " get logical-switch uid arp-table" to view arp table for a logical switch. But  then we also  have a command " get logical-switch uid arp-cache".

What is the difference between the output for these two different commands?

Much appreciated!!

get logical-switch uid arp-table -This will give you an overall mapping for a given logical switch

arp cache - you need to specify if it is a local node ARP/MAC/VTEP cache or remote node ARP/MAC/VTEP cache. For eg: Looking at that output we can conclude which workload is running locally and which are remote.
