NSX Configuration on Cluster fails.

Hi, 

I have ESXI host, which has 1 nic card, this nic card is connected to VSwitch0. Everytime i configure NSX on this host, i lose the connectivity with it, because ESXi management network and VM Network are attached to VSwitch 0. 

Can any one please guide on how to move configure NSX on this ESXI host and move Management network, VM Network and VMNIC0 from Vswitch 0 to N-VDS switch ?

P.S - I am new to the virtualization environment and have no knowledge on how these software work.

Hi, just to understand, which ESX version are you using? Your server has a NIC and it is bound to a standard switch?

First of all you should switch to vDS. nvDS is no longer supported with vSphere 8 and experience has shown that integration with vDS is easier.

I am using ESXi 7.0.3 u. Yes my server has only 1 nic card and it is bound to standard vSwitch0 of ESXI host. My VCenter version is 8.0.2. so are you saying nVDS will not be supported with VCenter 8.0.2? and If i have to move my ESXI server's Management network and VMnetwork to vDS, how can i do it?

Hi ESXi 8 no longer supports NVDS, this is independent of vCenter. Regardless of this, I would work with the VDS.
