is it possible to send a message that will be displayed directly in the VM? My reboot script works, but I would like to inform the user beforehand. Are there any commands for this via the powercli. That I can actually achieve something like that?

Yes, something like that, only I connect to the vcenter and reboot every VM in the cluster over vmware powercli.
And now I need the option to write a message to the user/VM before the reboot is carried out.
So what more do you need?
