Hi,
I was wondering if anyone know of a way to run a powercli script from and alarm configured on a VCSA? I would like to set up a script to create a ticket (A process we already have) from an alarm on the VCSA based on datastore usage.
Thank you for any help.
John
William did a post on that, see How to run PowerCLI scripts from vCenter Alarms.

Thank you LucD. Do you know if Powercli will be added to the VCSA since it now supports Linux or do you know of a way to install Powercli on a VCSA?
Thanks for all the contributions to the forum
I don't think that would be even advisable.
In theory you could install PowerCLI Core on the VCSA, but as William also warned in his post, it is not a good idea to install stuff on the VCSA.
There are the questions of potential performance impact and support, to name just a few.
Note that PowerCLI Core is still a Fling (experimental), and that PowerShell Core is also still in beta.
