Specweb2005 1.30 not compatible? pls help

Hello,

I ran into the same problem as , but I'm using the 2005-version of SPECweb.

After installing Staf, jrockit, ... and SPECweb2005 version 1.30 I get following error when I try to run a webserver workload:

Tile 0 webserver failed to start/complete java specweb.jar

It seems that stax is not able to find the specweb.jar. My package contains a specweb.jar in the folder: SPECweb2005_1.30.iso\Prime_Client\bin\specweb.jar, but maybe it is at the wrong place. My question is, where I should put the specweb.jar so that it can be found by stax.

Any help to solve this problem would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

VMmark officially supports SPECweb2005 v1.20 not v1.30 at this time.

If you order SPECweb and get either SPECweb2005 v1.30 or SPECweb2009 - you'll need to exchange it for SPECweb2005 v1.20.

Tell the SPEC office you want to run VMmark so you need the v1.20 version, they'll be happy to get you the right version.

I'm from germany and it took the SPEC Organisation quite a long time to

send me the SPECweb2005 and now I don't have the time to wait for them

to send me the right version of SPECweb2005. Thatswhy I have to find a

workaround myself. So if somebody could give a hind it would be very

kind.

I think it should be possible to run SPECweb2005 v1.30 with VMmark. If someone could post the directorystructure of the clientinstallation it could be helpful to find the problem and to solve it.

Thanks in advance.
