Block Win 7 from the Internet while allowing a Linux VM to use the net

Hi, is this possible ?  I have tried the reverse, LinuxMint boot, then a Win7 VM, which works fine blocking the internet from the Win VM form the Internet, but Windows runs a bit slow for my Image processing programs.

So have gone back to a Win 7 64 boot, and idealy want to be able to use the Linux VM (9) to browse the net, while blocking Windows from being connected to it.

Thanks in advance,  Ian in Oz.

If the Virtual Machine's are configured to use Bridged Networking then you can stop the Host itself from having Internet/Network Connectivity by unchecking all but VMware Bridge Protocol in the Host's Network Adapter's properties.  Or at the very least uncheck, Client for Microsoft Networks, File and Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks, Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).

Hi ozian6

Welcome to forum.

If we put little effort through policy we can do that easily.

on Internet explorer select use proxy & do wrong entry on proxy .

Then restrict the user to modify the internet settings.
