If you have ever had problems accessing files from Shared Folders because of some sort of (broken) file lock that Workstaion can sometimes put of the files, then you may want to know that you can goto VM-Settings-Options, then termporarly diable shared folders, turn it back on, and the lock goes away.
It's a real pain for those of us who have computer wrist problems to flip this off and on, as every mouse click and keystroke is painfull.
Ok, here is a nice, easy to add feature request that adds both value and functonallity to the product, and gives a fast and easy workaround to the problem:
ADD A TOOLBAR BUTTON TO ENABLE / DISABLE SHARED FOLDERS
You can even document this new funcionality as a "Enhanced Security Feature" ! ! !
Now, how easy is that? 
(please note: I am wearing my Dan Hesse smile and giving the trademark Dan Hesse "yes nod", in a blatent attempt to sell this notion to the platypus's in charge of building dams that hold back the expeditable implementation of great ideas).
