Team: Why Does It Take a Couple of Minutes to Shut Down?

When shutting down a team, after the last VM has been shut down, it takes a couple of minutes for the Team to do "something" until I can continue to work with it, e.g. changing Team settings or just closing Workstation.

What's Workstation doing during this time? Can I do something to keep that delay from occuring?

In the Team Settings, do you have a startup delay configured for the last VM in the team? (It's a misnomer and affects all Team power operations.)

That's interesting... Yes, that value was set to the default of 10sec. Setting it to 0sec speeded up the delay between shutting down each VM of the team, indeed.

This is an undocumented feature, isn't it? I have read the documentation about Team yesterday and there was not a single word describing this functionality.

And, yet, the final delay of more than a minute still remains. It looks something like this:
