USB Physical Disk in VMware Workstation

I will replace my Windows 11 NVMe SSD with a new one. Can i open Windows 11 from my previous NVMe SSD in VMware Workstation like VM using NVMe SSD Enclosure?

Ciao

Yes, once you have changed the disk and inserted the old SSD in a USB enclosure you will only have to do "open a virtual machine" and give the path to the folder on the USB disk where the VM is present

@fabio1975 is correct, if you intend to open the VMs that were originally created on your previous Win 11 NVMe SSD'.

@Sandi1987 however, you will have to provide some further clarification . . . cos, if you are saying that you wish to open your 'previous Win 11 NVMe SSD' presented as a Virtual Machine from within your 'new Win 11 NVMe SSD' Workstation installation . . . then you would have had to perform a P2V of it prior to mitigation.
