VM Workstation 10 and VT-d

Hello,

I use VM Workstation 10 on a Windows 7 host and run 30+ VMs, i dont use EXSi due to 3D issues with the GPU.

Do i get any performance improvement just by having a VT-d compatible CPU?

Note: im not configuring anything related to VT-d, i just turn on VM Workstation 10, install the VMs and run them.

Thanks.

VT enhanced some specific features like network performance, conversation between guest and VMM (or hypervisor), and Direct I/O. In VMware Workstation I think the enhancements are very tiny because the Workstation overhead is bigger than ESXi overhead.
