VM_Workstation Error starting VM Transport (VMDB) error -44: Message The VMware Authorization Service is not running.

Hello,

i try to start VM Workstation 9.01 on a win7-x64 pc and got the error message:

Transport (VMDB) error -44: Message  The VMware Authorization Service is not running.

Indeed, if I have a look at the service tab - it is not running.

When I try to start it, I got the error, that dependng services are not running:

But If I check them - they are all runing

Any idea, what I can try ? I treid multiple restarts with no effect.
