VMware Kernel Module Updater

Hello, I was installing VMware on CentOS Stream 9 with kernel ver. 5.14.0-410.el9.x86_64 and I couldn't finish installing the software. Whenever I try to open the VMware Workstation 17.5 on the said OS I am greeted with a VMware Kernel Module Updater window saying that it needs to compile files for vmmon and vmnet, but it always returned a message with code 1 saying that it failed to install all modules. I also have a log from the Updater and I will paste it under this message. Thank you.

It could be a compatibility issue.  The following KB lists the supported compatible host OS for Workstation versions:

https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/80807

Are you able to install on any other supported OS?  That may be your best answer. Even if it is doing a partition boot to a different Linux OS (like SuSE) which might address your issue.

CentOS 9 Stream is not on the compatibility list..

You might want to try the procedure and updated kernel modules provided by @mkubecek , see https://github.com/mkubecek/vmware-host-modules/blob/master/INSTALL to see if the error can be addressed.
