Vmware Workstation Kernel Modulate Update not able to update after upgrade Debian 11 to bookworm

Dear all,

i've got a problem with my vmware workstation installation after upgrading my notebook from Debian 11 bullseye to bookworm.

Background was the fact that the hardware support of the Dell Workstation is much better.with testing debian.

All Problems with wifi,bluetooth and the dockingstation vanished after upgrading to bookworm.

Only the VMware-Workstation-Full-16.2.3-19376536.x86_64.bundle  is not running anymore.

My case at vmware support was closed due to an unsupported os. That is right. With Debian 11 everthing was working fine.

Does anyone have the same issues?

Yup...I'm facing the same exact issue on Bookworm. I also use Virtualbox & aQEMU so I'm not really losing any functionality except for a few OS's that refuse to boot in any virtual machine except for VMWare (I've only found a couple in many years).
