Hello,
I would like to do some testing of Windows 2008 R2 w/ HyperV role in the latest version of VMware Workstation. When I attempt to add the HyperV role I encounter the following error message:
Hyper-V cannot be installed
The processor on this computer is not compatible with Hyper-V. To install this role, the processor must have a supported version of hardware-assisted virtualization, and that feature must be turned on in the BIOS.
How do I run Windows 2008 R2 w/ HyperV role in the latest version of VMware Workstation?
Thanks,
D
Sorry, you can't. VT is not passed to the virtual machine and Hyper-V requires this to run.

Andre is correct, furthermore, it is better to know that u cannot have Hyper-V and VMware Workstation or VMware Server at the same time on one host.
If it is useful, would u please mark it as "Helpful" or "Correct"?
Thank u

no current Workstation or VMserver version supports this
