Workstation 7.0 quad core processor

Anyone know what the minimum requirement is for Workstation to simulate a quad core processor. Can I have a dual core processor and simulate a quad? Or does the host need at least one quad core processor?

It might. You can assign logical processors to a VM, so if you have Dual Core hyper threaded MAYBE that will work. You would be using ALL your cores, and if you are testing it, you can cause your host to be very unstable if you push all the cores to 100%.
