Datastore removal

Dear All,

I'm facing a problem that there is a failure in one of the datastores (NAS Storage - NFS) and needs to be deleted for replacing with a new one but the problem I can't unmount or remove the datastore as the servers are in production as while trying to do so, I'm getting a message that the datastore is in use as there are vCLS VMs attached to this datastore and can't be moved or deleted (not accessible).

So, How can I remove this datastore or modify the current configurations with the replacement one ?

Thanks for your soonest help

If you are already on vSphere 7.0 Update 3, then take a look at e.g. https://www.yellow-bricks.com/2021/09/28/vsphere-7-0-u3-contains-two-great-vcls-enhancements/ for how to override the default vCLS placement, i.e. configure allowed datastores.
