We have an Enterprise Plus license and windows vcenter 6 license. I want to know if the Vcenter Appliance 6 is free for us.

vCenter appliance was previously free.

You can use your vCenter Server license for either vCenter Server for Windows, or the VCSA.So you can use whichever version you want.

You mentioned that you have a "windows vcenter 6 license."

The license is actually not specific to Windows, i.e. the key is the same for the Windows based version, and for the VCSA.

Without a valid license the VCSA will run for 60 days in evaluation mode.
