there are many places to check , but first start with vCenter
I assume vSAN health shows all green or are there any issues on vSAN health ?
Next make sure your vSAN storage provider is active and availalble
Select your vCenter -> Configure -> Storage provider
look for VMware vSAN - make sure its online
it should say Provider Status online
Next check the health of SPS service on the VCSA appliance
You can do this by connecting to the vcenter applaince https://<your-vc-address>:5480 as root
Navigage to Services and find VMware vSphere Profile-Driven Storage Service
if its not online you may attempt to restart Storage Profile service (sps)
Navigage to Services and restart VMware vSphere Profile-Driven Storage Service
alternatively if you ssh directly to your vCenter issue
service-control --restart vmware-sps
I would however investigate fully the logs before hand on vCenter to see if the root cause is understood
sps logs located at /var/log/vmware/vmware-sps/sps.log
