Is DHCP required for Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) deployment to vSphere?

Hi all,

I tried to deployed a k8s cluster on Tanzu Kubernetes Grid. However, I notice there is no options to configure IP address for the nodes. Therefore I keep getting error while deploying the cluster.

Yes, DHCP is required at this time because of the limitations of the current version of Cluster API. See also: Getting Started with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid | Neon Mirrors
