Vcenter Upgrade from 5.5 to 6.5

Hi there!

I'm getting some information how to upgrade the Vcenter along with ESXi host.

Can I upgrade VC from 5.5u3 to 6.5 and ESXi from 5.5 to 6.0? Or do I have to keep VC and ESXi on the same version level?

ESXi Hosts:
Hardware: IBM x3650 M3 7545 AC1 IBM
Hardware: IBM x3650 M4 7915 AC1 IBM
Hardware: IBM BladeCenter HS22 Type 7870 AC1
Hardware: IBM BladeCenter HS22 Type 7870 AC1
Hardware: IBM BladeCenter HS23 Type 7875 AC1

Thanks!

Hi Wallace,

Yes you can upgrade vCenter to 6.5 and Keep ESXi 6.0, this is possible.

Higher vCenter and Lower ESXi version is possible (not for all versions, good to check interoperability matrix)... But in your case yes its possible.
