Cannot find anything regarding the procedure to upgrade a VM that is running Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 ? Any idea ?

I woudl just treat like upgrading a physical box - just remember to switch the VM settings form Win2k3 during the reboot

Well, this is the obvious part... But it seems that there is no detailed and tested yet... event the Guest OS guide from VMware don't say much about this. I'm thinking of different issues that could be happening: scsi driver upgrade, using the snapshot to do a revert if things goes bad, the upgrade process for a Windows Server that happens to be a domani controler, etc.

Well, after more than a year, it seems this question is still very unanswered! Anyone from VMware would like to comment?
