please let me know si win8 VM / Guest OS is supported on ESX4.1 260247 (ESX4.1 U1, ESX4.1 U2, ESX4.1 U3 etc)

According to VMware Compatibility Guide: Guest/Host Search, Windows 8 is only supported with ESXi 5.0 Update 1 or later.
