Good Morning, I have installed Horizon Workspace 1.8.0 and I need to know if is it possible to disable for the pc users where i have installed the horizon client the copy on locally of the shared folders and files.
Have some suggest ?
Thanks in advance
Yes, there is a command line option ENABLE_DATA=0 which does that. You will have to install the Windows client with that option. An example is VMware-Horizon-Workspace-n.n.n-nnnnnnn.exe /s /v HORIZONURL=https://HorizonWorkspaceFQDN ENABLE_DATA=0 See http://pubs.vmware.com/horizon-workspace-18/index.jsp#com.vmware.hw-administrator.doc_18/GUID-625C0C... for more details
Thanks a lot for the suggest but in this way i don't see the folder "Horizon" on the client...
There is an other option to see the local folder without the syncronization ?
Thanks
Can you explain to me why you want to see the Horizon folder on the client and what you expect to see in that folder?
I' d like to see the folder as the web view but not with the syncronizaion....
It's difficult to explain: i install the client, i can see my folder on my desktop like the folder are really on the disk of my desktop but the files inside this forlder are not syncronized locally, i don' t have in practice a local copy but i can access to the folder like the files are on my desktop...
I hope you' ll see what i mean...
Thanks in advance..
