Increasing the size of a Mapped Raw LUN

I need to increase the size of a mapped Raw LUN that I have connected to one of our servers. I am unable to increase the size of it under the hardware tab in the VM properties as there aren't options there to do this, unlike the regular virtual disks. The only information about it is that it is in physical compatibility mode.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Hello.

You will need to do this on the SAN storage side, using its management software. Once the disk has been increased in size there, you can use native OS utilities (like diskpart in Windows) to extend the disk inside the virtual machine.

Good Luck!
