Oracle Database CPU sizing ...

I have a question about sizing of Oracle Database from my DBA.

I need the creation of Oracle 10gR2 database in our Oracle production server, but our DBA is requesting some data about CPU, RAM and I/O utilization in Oracle Database Server.

any idea ?

Is this for VC database? There are no specific hardware requirements for it, you can read through these docs to get some of the other requirements for putting the VC database on Oracle.

Ok, We took the recomendations in last answer and we tried to define the size of Oracle Database using the tool of VMware for SQL Database Sizing.

We took the I/O data to make an aproximation of sizing in Oracle.

Finnally we make test and define the size on demand with Oracle administrators.
