SOAP URL to use for querying VMware vCenter 4.1

Hi all,

I've been looking through VMware documentation and Googling for this, but I cannot seem to find exactly what I'm looking for.

Out setup is the following:

1 x VMware vCenter server version 4.1

Multiple ESXi hosts (version 4)

Multiple virtual machines

I am attempting to send some SOAP messages through Sharepoint Workflow to our vCenter to reset Virtual Machines.

I would like to know what specific format of URL is needed to query the vCenter SOAP service via Sharepoint Workflow, so I can

list the methods available and call them. I think it is a format of https://<hostname>/sdk/viService/<something>.asmx or wsdl

to some degree - but I haven't found the right one yet.

The form I am using expects a URL that connects to and lists the SOAP methods available when provided with authentication - I have attached this below (soap.png) I would be very grateful if any of you could send on some advice or suggestions.

CAVEAT: We can't use Lab Manager for this, it needs to be native vCenter calls.

Best regards,

Martin.
