vSphere Client - Unable to download plugins

On three different systems, when we went to install the VMWare Converter Enterprise Plugin, we would receive the error "Unable to connect to the remote server". These were all running VIC 3.5u4. We figured since vShpere 4 came out, it was time to go ahead and upgrade. So we upgraded to vSphere Server 4.0 and two of the three clients. However the problem persists.

We cannot seem to download the plugin no matter what we do and as these things go, I needed to use the feature yesterday.

Yes. See attached image. Clients & the Server are resolved correctly as well the server being able to resolve internet URLs without issue.

This KB, http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1005996 , is for 2.5 but may be useful. All clients trying to connect are running the most current version of the vSphere Client?

I would say reinstall the vSphere Converter plugin, but if it's working for some and not others, it may just be a client issue.
