Error Mounting Datastore ISO as CDROM

Hi,

very nice piece of software and very fast!

I found the following problem:

I tried to setup a datastore ISO file as a CD in a running Windows 2012 R2 VM

1. I had to shutdown the VM before I could edit the VM settings

2. I got an error, that the hdd size is to big and could not save the settings but I didn't change the hdd size, only changed the CD settings. There are 45 GB of free space on the store, the ISO resides on another datastore.

3. trying the same settings with the c# client (v8 VM) works without problems

Is this a known problem?

Can you upload vmware.log from VM & few details about vSphere versions .

hi qualityTesting,

here are the vmware logs. I also added the vmx file.

I'm using vsphere 6.0 build 2615704 in combination with vcenter 6.0B installed under Windows 2012 R2.

the browser is Safari under OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.
