How to setting Raid 1, in VMware?
I am use IBM x3100
Standard ServeRAID-C100 for IBM System x® supports RAID-0 or -1
Quoting from IBM's website:
The IBM® ServeRAID C100 and ServeRAID C105 are integrated SATA controllers with software RAID capabilities
These are not hardware RAID cards and as such cannot be utilised as such with VMware. When in doubt, check the HCL, it's not listed.

This would imply the RAID card is not supported by VMware. What RAID card does your server have?

yes josh, software raid is not supported by esxi
Like josh mentioned, Unless you have a hardware RAID, VMware wont be able to detect it. that is why its not showing up for you.
