Hi There,
I have the following environment.
Site A:
vSphere standard
2 x ESXI Servers - ESXi-7.0U3d-19482537-standard (Fujitsu custom build)
1 x VMware vCenter Server - 7.0.3.00300, build-19234570
1 x vSphere Replication - 8.3.1.12087, 19987969
Site B:
vSphere standard
1 x ESXI Servers - ESXi-7.0U3d-19482537-standard (Fujitsu)
1 x VMware vCenter Server - 7.0.3.00300, build-19234570
1 x vSphere Replication - 8.3.1.12087, 19987969
Our plan here is to deploy Site Recovery manager to replicate a select number of VMs from site A to site B. I have vSphere replication installed at both sites and getting the following error when trying to pair the two sites.
ERROR
Connection reset by peer
Operation ID: 818f5dab-f1fb-47cd-a387-d74056d6fa3b
All communication ports between the two sites have been opened up as per the manual/guide.
I have come across many software bugs in vSphere Replication and settled on version 8.3.1.12087, 19987969
Anyone come across similar issues ?
Albert Luttig
same issue when using 8.5 update 1
What is the state of VRM service on replication appliances at each site ?
Bugger!
The appliance successfully registers with its local vCentre server instance. Services all look OK. Comms have been opened up but cannot get the the site pairing working.
Had networking issues with some of the newer releases (8.4 ans 8.5) an settled on a stable 8.3 release.
