Welcome to the forums!
ESX or ESXi, which major version?
Have you opened the firewall for NFS?

Hello,
Moved to the vSphere Storage Forum.
However can you 'vmkping' the NFS server. Remember that on ESX, NFS makes use of a vmkernel device not the service console device.

Hi All,
Thanks for the help on this.
My ESX version was 4.0 & datastore was Virtual Store from Symantec.
But I have two ESX in my Vcenter & on one ESX I have added Datastore but it failing on second
Also Firewall is configured to accept & out for all ports.
vmkping work properly with NFS server but still failes
Can you get any logs from your NAS box showing something?
Is the second ESX server authorized to use the NFS export on the NAS box?
