Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to run multiple instances of vCenter server on one network?
My goal is to create two "virtual islands" using vSphere Esentials one for sales servers one for engineering servers.
The vcenter servers will run on the same subnet to control the virtual machines for each department.
Sure it is possible. Just have in mind that one ESX cannot be managed by more than 1 vCenter...

As marcelo said it is possible - but why have the extra expense why not create two datacenters one for sales servers and engineering servers -
