Is it possible to assign a GPU to Windows VM running on VMWare ESX?

Hello,

I am planning to build a home server with multiple VMs and considering the option of ESX, only if I know that the GPU inside my server can be specifically assigned to the Windows 7 VM that I would be starting up on the esx?

Hi,

You can use a passthorugh device for your VM.

Please check the compatibility with vsphere 5.x before configuring the passthorugh device:
