I have a Lenovo TD340 server and when I look at Lenovo's website the server itself is certified for multiple ESXi versions, including and up to 5.5U3 - that is the easy part.
My question is - I want to put a PCI-E video card on the server and run ESXi on the physical hardware. When I checked NVIDIA's websote I couldn't actually find a driver for this card mentioned in the subject for ESXi. Neither when I went to VMware's hardware compatibility website did I not find the video card listed.
Well actually I saw this on the NVIDIA site for what looks like a driver for ESXi but can't tell if it's for the card I have though - NVIDIA DRIVERS VMware vSphere ESXi 5.5 Driver
Does this mean that I cannot use this video card on my server if I want to do a bare metal install of ESXi on the server?
