Running VMware Workstation nested within a VMware Horizon VDI - supported?

Hi all,

I'm interested to know if anyone has any experience in running VMware Workstation within a VMware Horizon VDI desktop and whether or not feedback can be shared on whether it's supported? I appreciate that there will be a lot of technical considerations however at this stage I'm more interested in knowing VMware's official stance on something like this.

Hi,

I've never installed vmware workstation on a virtual desktop even though I think it runs on a full clone.
As far as I know, VMware has never certified this, but I think it's like any application installed on the virtual desktop
