webcam as usb device and not RTAV

Hello Dear All,

I try to deploy VMs in lab rooms.

I need use some usb camera as real usb camera.

But they are detected by RTAV and of course view in the vm as the Integrated Webcam (VDI).

Someone know what i must do for get my camera as use device?

Maybe via GPO?

Thin Clients is linux like and VM are Windows 10 configurable by GPO.

Thanks in advance.

If you don't need RTAV anywhere you can remove it from the Horizon Agent component list during install. It can also be disabled via group policy in the VMware View Agent Configuration\View RTAV Configuratoin\Disable RTAV.

You may need to configure your clients to include the camera's pid/vid to pass thru as a USB device as well as configure your group policy to do the same (VMware View Agent Configuration\View USB Configuration\Include Vid/Pid Device.
